- Tye MAbsolutely fantastic! I lived in northern India for several years with my wife and her family, and this food makes me homesick for Delhi. This is about as authentic as it gets in the Salt Lake Valley based on my experience living in India. The staff and owners are super helpful and friendly, and they take time to explain the menu and options if you have questions. Even though it means a drive from the exact opposite side of the valley I’ll make the drive to Makam’s instead of going to closer Indian restaurants.
- Warner KThis food is excellent, and the owner of this restaurant is obviously caring and hard working. He works the front counter himself and has a clear focus on high quality, tasty food for a great price. If things remain at this quality and price, I can see myself returning multiple times per week for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
- Lily JAmazing! So authentic. My husband was born and raised in New Delhi, India. He says this is the most authentic homemade Indian food in SLC, maybe even in UT (the contender is Tandoori in Logan, UT). While we make food at home pretty often, if we are crunched on time or too lazy to make dinner this place is fabulous. Very clean, delicious food, and great service. Definitely a gem! Only recommendation: Make the food a bit spicier or have options for spicy level, we are used to really hot spicy curry, these are more on the "sweet" side
